Stacking array

When Dunlop Rubber required a solution to handling their 'rubber' buns (hot from their oven) ,Cortex was quick to find a solution. Cortex was able to design and build the conveying, storage and control systems to take the 10 m long foam buns and intelligently deliver them to the nine curing bays. Key to the space saving design was the luffing/slewing stacker conveyor which responded quickly to the semi-continuous process.

The plant was commissioned in l994.
