Lascelles Wharf - Mobile Shiploader - Port of Geelong

An example of Cortex's ability to find a solution to a client's unusual problem is shown by the shiploader supplied to Pivot Fertilizer at Lascelles Wharf, Geelong. This facility incorporated an innovative design of shiploader, enabling the transfer from truck to ship to take place on a wharf shared by other operations. Cortex's solution was a 3-piece mobile set of equipment which could be self-driven into position for loading ships at over 600 tonnes/hour.

The three main items were the shiploader, transfer conveyor with low-profile hopper, and the truck ramp wide enough to allow two trucks abreast.
