Partnering
Cortex Resources has assembled a stable of Partner Companies with
skills which enable Cortex to be involved in turnkey projects.
These skills include:
- Electrical engineering
- Civil engineering
- Automation
- Construction
- Batch weighing
- Installation
Terms of Engagement
Depending on the nature of the project, Cortex Resources can act
as Prime Contractor or as part of a team, integrated with the client's
own staff, or in association with other contractors who may be appointed
by the client.
Although a number of standard forms of agreement exist, Cortex
Resources are able to negotiate other agreements in order to maintain
the most suitable working arrangement.
The following are areas in which Cortex Resources can be involved:
- Prime Contractor: offering services from preliminary studies
through design and construction, to plant commissioning and start
up. As prime contractor, Cortex carries complete responsibility
for the scope of the project and can provide performance guarantees.
- Team Member: for new capital or de-bottlenecking projects Cortex
can operate as a part of the client's organisation to plan, direct
and co-ordinate one or more aspects of an overall project.
- By providing personnel and services to supplement a client's
own resources.
